Texarkana Police Records
The Texarkana Police Department uses the GovTransfer portal for records requests. Central Records is at 100 North State Line Ave, Box 15. The phone number is 903-798-3181 and the fax is 903-793-3664.
To use the GovTransfer system, you need to create an online account. Select Texarkana PD and Bowie County Sheriff when choosing the agency. Having case numbers helps speed up the process. The system handles accident reports, incident reports, and other police records.
Crash reports from Texarkana are also on file with TxDOT. The Crash Records Information System lets you order copies at $6 each. Reports are usually available within 7 to 10 business days. Certified copies cost $8.

Texarkana Municipal Court

Written requests are required. You must ask for existing records. The city cannot create new documents or do research for you. Prompt response is required under the Texas Public Information Act. Fees may apply for copies and processing time. If the city wants to charge more than $40, they must provide a cost estimate first.
